Our goal is to design, manufacture and sell high-performance self-sufficient homes at an affordable price. To offer homes that have a zero cost of ownership over 25 years.

We have intentionally departed from the traditional building industry model by both focusing on scalable off-site mass production and direct procurement of materials. In order to achieve our goal of building family homes, we intend to initially manufacture and sell small cabins using the same building system. This size of construction allows us to test our building systems and supply chain model at a small scale. The introduction of our first cabins will combine the option of full off grid services and feature twice the building code requirements for thermal efficiency, an appealing minimalist design and a competitive build cost compared to traditional building.

We operate in a different manner and structure than traditional building companies to pursue what we believe to be an opportunity in the sector to successfully commercialize self-sufficient thermally superior homes without compromising on styling and affordability. In addition to designing and manufacturing our cabins, we sell them through our website in a similar way you can buy a computer or a phone. We believe our approach will enable us to operate more cost effectively and provide a better experience for our customers.

The Space2 Cabins, our introductory range of cabins, showcases our incorporation of practical energy efficiency and modern design. The simplistic raw design enables us to reduce the need for several sub-trades, leading to significant overall cost reductions and provides for the trade-off that is required to bring an affordable sustainable dwelling to the market. The Space2 range of cabins achieves an energy efficiency rating three times the minimum requirement of the building code for all external walls, glazing, flooring and roof. The SPACE2 range has options for Solar and battery storage systems enabling year-round off grid power supply. Optional full water catchment and water recycling system and waste recycling system turn the Space2 cabins into a fully independent waste and water treatment facility. The SPACE2 range features structurally insulated panel walls, floor and roof creating a passive house envelope which is the most important principal for energy efficient construction. Minimal heating is required to warm the dwelling during winter, while cross ventilation and engineered shading design provide cooling and ventilation during summer. Carefully designed triple glazed windows and doors on the North facing elevations allow plenty of daylight sun and contribute to the high insulation specification.

We have designed the SPACE2 range to be single level construction specifically targeted to homeowners wanting an extra room on their property, predominantly for extra income or extended family. Featuring a full array of energy efficiency characteristics, its minimalist architectural design and minimal cost of ownership, the SPACE2 range is planned to compete in the luxury portable cabin market. We currently intend to build the SPACE2 range on an order and inventory basis starting in 2021 and anticipate production of 20 cabins during the first 12 months of production. Components are imported and manufactured to order and stored at our premises ready for final finishing and assembly. Our products are predominantly ordered directly from the manufacturers, eliminating the traditional supply chain model. We intend to provide our own construction team for assembly of our dwellings on site in addition to a manufacturing facility. We will refine and evolve the build process to a commercially viable offering by assessing each build and adjusting the building system.

We are designing our dwellings to have adaptable architecture and common prefabricated parts in order to allow us to efficiently create other home designs, which will include one, two, three and four-bedroom homes and various bedroom multi-unit apartments. By developing our future homes from these common components, we believe we can reduce their development time and, as a result, reduce the required additional capital investment. Our long-term goal is to offer consumers a full range of architecturally designed energy efficient homes, with product lines at higher price points than our cabins.
