What is Terrazzo?
Terrazzo is the age old art of casting of marble, granite, quartz and other decorative aggregates into a cement suspension and then polishing to expose the natural beauty of the raw materials. Terrazzo is highly valued as an architectural product for it’s enduring beauty and is often specified in high traffic areas within commercial and public buildings (e.g. education facilities, airports, shopping malls etc). Terrazzo’s versatility means that it can also be used for a multitude other applications such as stair treads and landings, interior and exterior cladding, bench-tops, hearths, paving, outdoor furniture plus countless others. Terrazzo tiles and slabs are structural, environmentally sustainable, durable and versatile.

Yes indeed. Terrazzo is perfect on the walls and floor of your bathroom so long as it is installed in accordance with our technical information and has been sealed properly. Terrazzo has good slip resistance and copes well with extended periods of contact with water. Avoid using acidic cleaners and bleach where possible - for more information download a copy of our care and maintenance advice.
Look at our large slabs for your colour inspiration. Terrazzo slabs are a stylish quality option for your kitchen or bathroom. Terrazzo doesn’t require any extra care than your concrete or natural stone options. We suggest avoiding placing hot objects directly on the bench, wipe up any spills immediately and clean up spills like lemon juice, mustard etc as soon as practical. We also offer great cleaning products for your Terrazzo kitchen bench.
Absolutely. We have recently featured clients who cut down panels of our slabs for a faceted curved edge of an impressive bench. Create different shapes with the flat surfaces and create impressive shapes. Talk to us about how to create your project today.

We import from Melbourne and we have all colours in stock all of the time. We send a shipment about 4 times a year so we can get your order in in good time.
We have a list of approved fabricators in your area who have worked with our product before and will install with confidence.

We import the finest stone and terrazzo product from factories around the world however most of our Terrazzo is from Europe.
Yes we are a small family run business. Based in West Auckland. We supply Fibonacci Stone and Urbanstone exclusively within New Zealand.
