From a car groomer to the Chief Operating Officer - James Dalglish's 25-year journey with GO Rentals has been quite the ride - and farewelling this industry legend at the end of the year is going to be a tough goodbye!   James has officially handed in his keys after an epic career touching all corners of the business. He joined us back in January 2001 when we had one Auckland location and 60 rental cars. Fast forward to today and we've grown into one of Aotearoa's leading rental companies with over 3,000 vehicles across nine locations nationwide.   While it's the end of James' era here at GO, it's not the end of the road for his influence and legacy. His impact can be seen throughout the organisation, from our renowned customer experience to the award-winning workplace culture that makes GO Rentals special.   As James moves on to his next adventure, Kevin Dang has stepped into our new Chief Technology Officer role to keep things running smoothly, while we prepare to welcome new leadership in Sales and Marketing.   Ngā mihi nui for 25 incredible years James - GO Rentals wouldn't be what it is today without you. Meet Diane 👋 She’s our Senior Financial Accountant and has been part of the GO whānau for almost two years.   What keeps her loving her role? “Working with knowledgeable, passionate people and learning something new about the car rental business every day.”   When it comes to favourite Kiwi escapes, Diane’s go-to is Waihi Beach in the Coromandel – filled with special family memories.   Her perfect road trip? Queen’s hits on the stereo, summer vibes in the air, and kicking back in the passenger seat.   We’re stoked to have her on the journey with us 🩷

Say hello to Miguel – the newest face on our Sales & Reservations team! 🙌   Joining us from the Philippines, Miguel brings a wealth of experience from his time with AMEX Travel, where he mastered the art of customer service, sales, and turning even the trickiest situations into great outcomes.   From handling complex escalations to delivering top-tier service, Miguel’s got the tools to go the distance. We’re stoked to have him on board and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll make at GO 🩷

Meet Joe Birch from our Auckland HQ 👋 With over 2½ years under his belt as Fleet Administration Assistant, he's the mastermind behind getting our cars in exactly the right place at the right time across the motu. Joe loves the people and atmosphere at GO – "everyone's so easy to get on with and always willing to lend a hand when needed." It's that team spirit that makes coming to work a joy! His GO ride of choice is the Toyota New Zealand Limited RAV4 Hybrid – "pretty practical, not too big, not too small, plus you'll save on fuel economy with the hybrid!".
