Our Logistics Tech survey revealed that 51% of logistics companies are not measuring the ROI of their tech investments! In this clip from our recent webinar with Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA), Alan Dowsett and Chris Spence delve into this finding and explore some of the challenges in measuring the ROI of technology in logistics. What hidden costs/returns are often missed when implementing new software? How are you attributing the return of indirect results, such as new customer sales? What makes it so hard to measure?? REMINDER WEBINAR: Fresh Insights from ANZ Research: How Logistics Companies Use Tech to Get Ahead Discover why some logistics operators are pulling ahead while others are stuck in neutral. From research across ANZ companies, Origin unveils the 2025 Logistics Tech Outlook and how the right tech strategies are driving growth and competitive edge. Date: Thursday, 23 October 2025 Time: 11.00am - 12.00pm (ADST) Cost:  No Charge Registrations close at COB on Wednesday, 22 October 2025 REGISTER NOW: https://lnkd.in/g-Yxjhkf ABOUT THIS EVENT The logistics and transport technology sector is shifting fast, and the gap between leaders and followers is widening. Origin’s 2025 Logistics Technology Outlook, based on a survey of 85 ANZ logistics companies, exposes a growing divide: some are accelerating ahead while others remain stuck in neutral despite rising tech spend. This isn’t a sales pitch. It’s your chance to see what your peers are doing: * Where they’re investing today, and what’s next on their roadmap * Which projects have delivered the biggest wins (and where they’ve stumbled) * What customers are demanding most from their providers * Why tech-driven companies are more satisfied with their progress and competitiveness. In this exclusive webinar, Origin will reveal the report findings for the first time, highlight the behaviours separating fast movers from the rest, and share practical steps and examples to help you address the opportunities and challenges ahead. PANELISTS @Chris Spence - Chief Growth Officer at Sandfield (https://lnkd.in/gM3ZcaQs) Alan Dowsett - Head of Origin at Sandfield WHO SHOULD ATTEND This webinar is designed for logistics leaders and decision-makers across Australia and New Zealand who are shaping the future of their operations. It will be especially valuable for: Executives and senior leaders looking to understand how technology is driving competitive advantage in the sector. Supply chain and operations managers seeking ways to integrate systems, reduce manual processes, and scale efficiently. IT and digital leaders responsible for selecting, implementing, and integrating logistics technology. Customer service and commercial leaders who want to improve visibility, customer experience, and service differentiation. If you’re evaluating new systems, wrestling with fragmented data, or looking for insights into how your peers are approaching AI, automation, and integration - this session will give you the clarity and benchmarks you need.

  • Hire A Hubby unlocked 40% increase in user engagement. How? Through a website redesign more than just a new coat of paint. For Hire A Hubby, the goal was critical: engineer a better, frictionless user journey to drive adoption. The HAH team wanted more that just an update to the look and feel of their site. So, we went deep into the technical foundation, optimising performance and user experience (UX) to make the customer journey effortless. Only a week after the launch, HAH experienced a 40% boost in user engagement. • At Sandfield, we believe human skills are just as critical as technical ones. Resilience, creativity, collaboration and courageous conversations are what help our teams thrive and they’re skills worth nurturing from an early age. That’s why we’re proud to support our neighbours, The Covert Theatre, and their incredible kids’ programme: The Resilience Playground. Through positive psychology and a playful dose of improv comedy, the programme helps 8–12-year-olds build resilience and emotional intelligence in a way that sticks. Today, Covert is running a Giving Day so schools across New Zealand can access The Resilience Playground for free. Even better, thanks to matching donors (Sandfield being one), every dollar donated will be doubled. Find out more and donate here: https://lnkd.in/gHcwPZqi We’re backing resilience in our people and our community and we’d love for you to join us.

Our annual Quiz Night is always a highlight on the Sandfield calendar. It's a chance for our people to get together, show off their trivia skills and enjoy some friendly competition. This year we had nine teams battling it out across quiz rounds, easter egg hunts, and even a few surprise challenges. Big thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such a fun night, and to our hosts Chalu Jugo, Chandré Laubscher, Calum Irwin and organisers for pulling it all together.
