This winter TMNZ together with Whakatupu Aotearoa Foundation have been proud to support Kindness Collective Foundation's PJ Project—helping tamariki across Aotearoa stay warm during the colder months. The need is real and urgent: 💚 1 in 4 Kiwi kids—over 156,800—are living in poverty 💚 1 in 4 children live in homes where food regularly runs out 💚 More than 682,500 people across Aotearoa go without basics every day The PJ Project is one of six nationwide programmes led by Kindness Collective—a charity that began as a grassroots group in 2014 and now supports over 100,000 people every year. Over just four working days, our team contributed 117 volunteer hours, sorted 1,534 pairs of PJs, packed 404 food boxes, and processed 28 referrals. We also donated 56 pairs of PJs, ourselves. Thank you to Kindness Collective for everything you do—and for letting us play a part in delivering warmth and comfort to tamariki across the motu.
