Reviews and Testimonials
"I have the pleasure of currently being Charles' oldest student and I owe my improvement in tone and range to him. You will not be mucked around by Charles, he knows what he is talking about!"
Simon Jones - New Zealand
"I have been at the conservatory for 4 years and I lost my will for singing and being at one level all the time...but after my first lesson with Charles I already feel the difference in how I feel in breathing and my need to "force the voice". I feel so much better than I have done in a very long time. Charles Humphreys is an amazing teacher and person, when he works he is completely dedicated to his student , not just that he knows how to teach the most natural methods of voice production, but he will build you up as a true artist......Those two things are very rare today believe me."
Sacho Spasovski - Bulgaria
"When I had my first lesson with Charles about two years ago, his passion for singing, and for just voices' in general was quite a surprise for someone expecting a humourless old pedagogue. Let me say that Charles genuinely cares about each and every student as a person first and foremost, and has a very finely tuned ear which can suggest simple technical changes, that can result in better tone, placement, vibrato, volume....and he totally shares in the soulful joy of singing with everyone he teaches! If you want to find vocal ability that perhaps you never thought you had, or maybe you're a professional singer who wants to learn more advanced techniques...I'm sure Charles is the guy you want!"
