PRESCHOOL Classes:
At Rhythm Kids the emphasis is on enjoyment, while developing fundamental dance skills. Children will be introduced to many dance styles including ballet, jazz, tap and modern. They will use fun colourful props and costumes that will add to the experience of the class. The music at Rhythm Kids is carefully selected to inspire a range of emotions and dance styles from around the world.
The classes develop creativity, imagination, confidence, balance, co-ordination, communication skills, posture, body awareness, drama & performance skills, music appreciation, timing and of course rhythm!
Exams?? No way!!! We believe children have enough going on at school including a huge amount of homework and are pressured at an increasingly young age to perform and compete. Rhythm Kids offer a completely stress free, non competitive, happy, enjoyable environment where they can come and experience some carefree kid time.
Uniforms?? No way!!! At Rhythm Kids we try to keep the costs down. We believe everyone should be dancing regardless of income, race, size, age or gender. We also understand you need to feel completely comfortable while moving and that leotards don’t do everyone justice!
Rhythm Kids specialise in CHILDCARE classes where we make it easier for you by coming directly to the centre. The classes are 40 minutes in length and can be booked for between 5-10 classes per term. They are very affordable and specially designed for children in a childcare setting. If you wish for us to send an information pack to your child’s centre please contact us.
We also provide PRIMARY SCHOOLS with an extra-curricular dance programme. Classes are held on campus at the schools immediately before or after school or during lunch time. On 18 & 19 November 2011 all students enrolled at the time will have the opportunity of performing at our BAYCOURT THEATRE PERFORMANCE. This allows the dancers to showcase their talent to other students, teachers and family and at the same time experience the excitement of performing. Near the end of Term 4 the jazz/hip hop dance the students have been working on will be performed at a school assembly or lunchtime performance.
Classes on offer at our PUBLIC classes include:
* All classes are suitable for both males & females.
* The ages stated are approximate only and children can be moved between classes according to ability and size.
* All students will have the opportunity to perform at our shows at BAYCOURT.
* TERM 3 2011 – All classes start the week beginning Monday 8 August 2011 with payment required by Monday 1 August to avoid a 10% late fee.
Also on offer for Adults are our dance fitness classes follow the popular ZUMBA programme.
The Zumba® programme fuses Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness routine that will blow you away.
Our goal is simple – We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. The captivating music and easy steps will leave you wanting more of this fun, body energising programme!

Rhythmz Dance Co offer Zumba fitness lessons in Greerton, Otumoetai, Mount, Papamoa, Welcome Bay, Bethlehem, Omokoroa, Katikati & Te Puna.
We have both male & female instructors showing different variations and styles and catering to all abilities so bring along your partner, friends, siblings and parents – Zumba is for everyone!
We have an ADVANCED class for those wanting a challenge; ZUMBA TONING classes for those looking for muscle conditioning and ZUMBA GOLD classes for the active senior, the true beginner and people who are not used to exercising.
