Puraz New Zealand began in 2004 with the sole aim of creating scientifically-formulated, but all natural, health and beauty products to work from within the body, to achieve truly noticeable results to both skin and wellbeing. Prior to 2004, the company’s founder and still CEO today, Warren Stirling, could see the enormous potential in natural products when they were formulated based on scientific evidence. He began researching the market extensively and found the natural health and beauty industry was dominated by products that contained active ingredients with little scientific evidence for efficacy and/or contained such small or inappropriate amounts of active ingredients, they simply couldn’t give people the results they were being promised.

From here, the Puraz brand was born, offering real value by ensuring all products contain scientifically researched active ingredients at scientifically formulated levels so they can be truly effective. To this day, we remain committed to developing new products and constantly improving our existing ones, as scientific knowledge in the areas of health, beauty and anti-aging continues to expand.

Scientifically proven successes

Our first success began with Puraz 100% Collagen. These capsules were developed with a unique formulation of not only the very best collagen available, but exactly the right forms of collagen, in high enough quantities, to support the body’s own natural replenishment of collagen and when taken over time, noticeably improve skin tone, texture, and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. With the many results, evidenced by un-retouched, high-resolution photographic studies, Puraz 100% Collagen rapidly became one of the top-selling beauty products in its category.

Using the specialist knowledge we gained in collagen restoration, further research and development went into developing our flagship supplement, PRO-d Joint Health. PRO-d represents a real breakthrough in joint health, offering customers life changing results through the product’s real ability to support healthy cartilage.

Fully accredited New Zealand manufacturing facility

We operate our own Risk Management Program (RMP) registered manufacturing facility which is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. The manufacturing facility also has full registration with the FDA in the United States.

Our manufacturing facility operates its registered RMP under the Animal Products Act 1999. This means that every facet of our operation has been evaluated by the New Zealand Government through the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) to identify any potential risks to product safety or quality. It also means that our facility is continuously monitored and independently audited by the MPI to ensure strict compliance with the RMP at all times. The RMP ensures our products are 'fit for purpose'; i.e. safe, suitable and truthfully labelled
