MyHome Renovations is an Auckland-based residential renovation company specialising in large-scale home renovations, extensions and alterations across central Auckland.

We help homeowners transform existing houses into homes that better suit the way they live – whether that involves extending out or up, reconfiguring an existing floorplan, opening up kitchen and living areas, developing underutilised spaces, or undertaking a comprehensive renovation of an older home.

Our projects range from ground-floor extensions and second-storey additions to major internal alterations, basement developments, and renovations of Auckland’s character villas and bungalows.

What sets MyHome Renovations apart is our Design + Assist + Build approach. Rather than leaving homeowners to coordinate designers, consultants, consent requirements, pricing and construction separately, we guide and support our customers through a tried and tested process from the initial concept and feasibility stage right through to construction and obtaining the CCC.

Early in the process, we focus on two important questions: Can the renovation you’re considering be achieved, and is it likely to work within your budget? Our concept design and preliminary cost review process is designed to give homeowners greater clarity before they invest heavily in detailed drawings and consenting.

Once the design is developed, we coordinate the documentation and specialist input required for Building Consent and, where necessary, Resource Consent. We then prepare a detailed scope of works and comprehensive construction proposal, including a fixed-price.

During construction, our experienced project management and building team coordinate the many moving parts involved in renovating an existing home. Because renovation work can be considerably more complex than building from scratch, experience matters. Existing structures, older construction methods, restricted access, council requirements and unforeseen conditions all need to be understood and managed carefully.

MyHome Renovations is led by experienced renovation professionals, including several Licensed Building Practitioners, and has been renovating Auckland homes for more than two decades. We are also members of New Zealand Certified Builders, with qualifying residential building projects covered by the Halo 10-Year Residential Guarantee.

We primarily work throughout central Auckland, including Onehunga, Hillsborough, Royal Oak, Epsom, Mt Eden, Mt Roskill, Sandringham, Mt Albert, Grey Lynn, Point Chevalier, Ellerslie, Greenlane, Remuera, Mt Wellington and Mangere Bridge.
