07/20/2017 Facebook is dominating the way we market to customers. Its fast, easy to use and the results are instant. Video is the most viewed content on Facebook, if you aren't on Facebook you aren't advertising. Users are watching, liking, sharing, interacting and saving the videos. There are now 2.5 million people in New Zealand using Facebook, you’re going to be noticed if you deliver the right content to the right customer. 1
Delivering the right content to the right customer. This is a valuable (and tricky) lesson MAD has learnt over the years. For years our work was for broadcast or digital media, widely spread, less targeted, whereas now we focus mostly on digital channel campaigns that have a specifically defined goal. Don't stop with Facebook though, now that they own Instagram you need increase your followers and put the same content out through Instagram.
MAD’s advice to you is to redefine your comfort zone. Redefine your traditional marketing channels. Explore everything that new platforms have to offer by including different forms of the same message and A-B testing them. Experiment, record the data that falls out, then experiment again. The cost of social marketing can be incrementally increased as you progress and gain more insight into what works for you.
Commit to an innovation agenda and champion this, because companies that are at the forefront of digital will be in the best position to establish lasting connections with their consumers.

The objective is ultimately sales and you need to build your brand up by remarketing to your target market. Over time those people scrolling through the news feed will recognise your brand and see you as credible, leading onto deeper engagement and additional sales.
