Gunn Design is a small specialist landscape design and construction practise that draws on the services of, and collaborates with, other professionals and trades.

Our small size ensures that we take a hands-on approach to every project we work on. A key benefit of this is that we are very responsive to client input. As a project progresses we can easily incorporate client feedback into the finished design.

We are based in Lyttelton and have been predominantly servicing the Christchurch, Banks Peninsula and broader Canterbury region for over 10 years.

At Gunn Design Landscape Design & Construction, we aim to be involved in the whole design and build process – bringing a project right through from initial consultation to the finished built landscape. This process allows us to maintain a close partnership with our clients throughout the life of the project.

We cover all aspects of the design and build process. Our focus is on the landscape design features where we can add value through our design and build skills, bringing in sub-contractors where necessary.

We provide a landscape and garden maintenance service to complement the landscape design and construction services we offer.

Whether it is maintaining a property we have designed and built, or an established property that requires either a one-off tidy up or some regular upkeep, our crew can tackle the job, big or small. We tailor our services to suit your needs.

An added benefit of our landscape and garden maintenance service is having the eye and expertise of a landscape architect on call to give advice about ongoing planting and other improvements you may wish to make. This can provide a cost effective way to improve your outdoor living space over time.
