At Cassidy Eyecare we believe in comprehensive eye examinations and friendly honest service. We use a retinal camera to capture digital images of the back of the eye, and computerised visual field analysers to test peripheral vision. We are accredited examiners for NZ Police, Maritime NZ, and the Civil Aviation Authority.

We stock a wide range of frames, starting from just $50, and running right up to designer eyeglasses from Adidas, Silhouette, Carerra, Tom Ford, Kate Sylvester and many more.

We use spectacle lenses from world-leading lens manufactureres such as Essilor, Nikon, Hoya and Zeiss. We can advise you on all the latest developments in lens technology, such as thin and light lenses, smudge-free anti-reflective coatings, free-form progressive lenses and Transitions.

We prescribe and fit all forms of contact lens, from the latest daily disposables to longer lasting RGP lenses. We can prescribe multifocal contact lenses, lenses to correct astigmatism and lenses to correct keratoconus.
