Our CEO

At the helm, is Director Sam Reddy. Sam has been manufacturing blinds for over 30 years, starting his career with a blind company in Auckland.

Sam quickly accelerated through the ranks, being promoted to Production Manager within three years. Commended for his attention to detail, Sam helped the company to grow to a new level of productivity and established a very loyal and significant client base. Seeking a new challenge, Sam resigned in 1999 and started his own blind company Cedar Blind Specialists. His goal was to provide a superior blind product, specialising specifically in timber and roller blinds manufacturing. Sam’s wife Nanjulla later joined the company and manages administrative, accounts and marketing activity for Cedar Blind Specialists.

When Sam and Nanjulla are not thinking about work, they are spending their time with their five children and their dog.

With over 30 years of hands-on manufacturing and installation experience, Cedar Blind Specialists provides stylish and cost-effective wooden cedar blinds that offer a classic and timeless feel to your home.

Our cedar slats are made of Western Red Cedar and come in either 46mm or 60mm sizes. Each blind is UV-coated and carefully selected for grain and colour consistency and ensure a top quality finish.

Although lightweight, these blinds offer superior strength and increased resistance to bowing and twisting. Additionally, the blind mechanisms are manufactured with steel head rail systems, ensuring further stability and durability.
