Regenerative solutions creating health for farm, family and planet
About us
Regenerative agriculture is really a way of thinking. In many ways, it represents a back to the future approach. Regenerative approaches seek balance unlike industrial systems, which have traditionally been established to maximise the extraction of return from a resource.

Why does conventional agriculture resist regenerative production? And why is it crucial that we care? Challenging the status quo in New Zealand agriculture, we must recognise the subtle art of passive-aggression employed to maintain the unsustainable paradigms of conventional farming. Amidst the struggle to define 'regenerative agriculture', our 'un-regenerative' practices continue to erode our soils and ecosystems. The shift towards regenerative principles - diversity, reduced inputs, soil health - offers a design framework for transformation. While certifications like Ecological Outcome Verification validate progress, the urgent question remains: How can we pivot towards a system that fosters holistic health and regeneration? As we face environmental, social, and economic challenges, it's time to move beyond incremental changes and demand a shift in our agricultural systems. “Resilience is an emergent outcome of all the connected relationships” – Tre' Cates That was the takeaway quote from yesterday’s first seminar series in Christchurch, "Unleash Productive Potential”. We were happy to see a range of people in the audience representing farming, consulting, and education. Tre’s presentation stimulated good, lively discussions. Those present were challenged by the concept of living system design and the relevance of this to health in our own lives, our farms and organisations but came to realise the importance and relevance of making this shift and the use of Regenerative Design Principles. Joining us was Prof. Pablo Gregorini, who shared fascinating insights into his groundbreaking work, which explores the link between animal grazing practices and their demonstrated impact on improving human health. Participants recognised the immense value of this and emphasised the need for greater understanding among decision-makers in government, organisations, and social structures. If your business is ready to become a regenerative organisation, join us in our next seminar at a New Zealand location near you. If you don’t embrace it now, you may struggle to sell your products to your key markets in the future. We have become net consumers, increasingly separated from the natural world, propped up by debt while inflation and prices remain high, currency falls in value, energy becomes scarcer, and resource-motivated geopolitical instability once again threatens peace. Our health is in decline, education and social services are failing our most vulnerable people, and many businesses fail to thrive due to ‘difficult trading conditions’. We need a dramatic system redesign, and this is where Regenerative Design Principles (RDP) will positively impact your profitability in the volatile years ahead. Learn the tools you need to make a transition that will build consumer trust and enable your business to be more efficient, productive and profitable. Don’t let your business get left behind. Future-proof your organisation by joining two experts in the field who will position you ahead of the pack and meet the increasing regenerative standards of international trade. Spaces are limited. Big news in the fight against harmful pesticides! A Philadelphia jury has recently hit Bayer-Monsanto with a $175 million verdict against Roundup, their best-selling herbicide. This landmark decision comes after a cancer patient claimed that the company failed to warn about known carcinogens in Roundup. The verdict underscores the importance of holding companies accountable for the potential harm their products can cause to both human health and the environment. Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is the most widely used weed-killing chemical worldwide, but it has been linked to various health problems and is classified as "probably carcinogenic to humans" by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. This verdict is not only a victory for the cancer patient but also for all those who have been raising concerns about the safety of glyphosate and the need for stronger regulation. However, the battle is far from over. Bayer intends to appeal the verdict and reduce the excessive damage awards. We must continue to push for transparency, accountability and safer alternatives to harmful pesticides.
