Yesterday Apollo Projects signed the contract with Waitaki District Council for the construction of the Network Waitaki Events Centre. The next few months will see the demolition of the existing Centennial Park grandstand, ahead of breaking ground on the new indoor sports and events centre. The community enthusiasm for this project has been wonderful and we look forward to working alongside the council and community to create a long lasting community asset. A huge shout out to our team who have been working hard in the early stages of this project. We look forward to keeping you all updated on the progress! 🙌 Read more about this fantastic project here: https://lnkd.in/dfEtdneN #designandbuild #construction #sports #events

Building excellence for business + people
About us
Apollo Projects (“Apollo”) is a design and construction company, specialising in the delivery of turn-key food and beverage processing facilities and controlled environment construction. Specialist industries we operate in include. • Food Processing • Dairy • Wineries & Beverages • Cold Storage • Retail, Commercial & Industrial • Sports, Aquatics & Education Apollo is committed to providing industry-leading construction services to these sectors and has a proven track record for on-time and on-budget developments. We have designed and built large scale developments for many national corporates including Fonterra, Synlait, Foodstuffs, Big Chill and Lion Nathan. Apollo has also undertaken a number of international projects. As a design and build contractor we coordinate and manage every aspect of a build project from concept design, to consent approvals, to construction and finally commissioning and client hand-over. We tailor our services to suit client’s requirements and encourage robust discussion within the project team around materials, design and buildability. A key point of difference for Apollo is our early participation in the building and services design process – this is referred to as Early Contractor Involvement or ECI. As ECI specialists we bring both a practical and theoretical understanding of project buildability which means we develop a more efficient design. We design and build to a budget and remain conscious of design change implications at every step in the process. Health & safety is integral to the Apollo culture - Our first value is ‘Safety above all else’, and our approach to this is collaborative. On every project we employ our leading health and safety management systems, offering our clients and every project participant peace of mind, knowing that safety comes first.

Apollo Projects was selected by LOGOS to partner with them for the design and build of a large new warehouse and office space located in Wiri, South Auckland. The $41m facility includes a 22,000m2 warehouse and 1,000m2 office space and includes many sustainable features to achieve a Greenstar 5 rating. The facility is being completed under a rapid construction programme with the expected completion set for the second half of 2024. With the completion of the roof expected for late May, this will be a huge milestone for the team, as they gear up for the next phase of construction. Huge shout out to our team on site, to our client, LOGOS, and to our wider Apollo team! #designandbuild #construction #warehouse

As we continue our commitment to supporting our rangatahi with their involvement in sport, there's nothing more rewarding than the feedback we get from families, teachers and students alike. Have a read of the feedback in the below post, to understand just how important this funding is for these schools. 🙌 We look forward to nurturing and growing this initiative alongside the hard working team at Waddell. In January of this year, Apollo commenced construction of the new 2,200m2 cold store in Rolleston. The project is progressing well and is ahead of schedule. This month will see the completion of the roof which is a great milestone for the team. Well done to the guys on site Garry North and Alan Baddeley, the wider Apollo team, and to our client Coolpak for entrusting Apollo with your project. #designandbuild #construction #coolstore

"There are not many pools you can jump down the bottom of one end and see all the way to the other end" states swimming World Champion Lewis Clareburt following the recent 2024 Apollo Projects Swimming Championships. A fantastic article summarising the success of the recent event in Hawke's Bay. You can read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gDYSZMfH #designandbuild #construction #swimming

Saturday marked the final day of the 2024 Apollo Projects New Zealand Swimming Championships, which was held at the Hawke's Bay Regional Aquatic Centre - a facility designed and constructed by Apollo. Saturday was a huge success and it was great to announce 10 swimmers on the Olympic team and six on the Paralympics team - Paris here we come! On Saturday night, Swimming New Zealand and our founder and director Paul Lloyd organised an incredible surprise for his daughter Natasha Lloyd. Tash was presented with her formal Aquablack certificate for making the NZ swim team for Worlds a few years back. Paul said he felt honoured to be able to present this award, and what made it even more special is that Tash had no idea! We'd like to extend a huge congratulation from all of us here at Apollo to Swimming New Zealand for running an amazing event and for letting our team be a part of the fun! We'd also like to give a huge shout out to Whakaata Māori who hosted this event live and free on their Youtube channel. Now on to the National Age Group Swimming Championships which kicked off today! 🏅🏊♀️🎉 #sponsorship #designandbuild
