Its that time of year again - World of WearableArt Ltd's 2024 show is upon us, and tickets are on sale! Journey to a world between worlds. This year's theme is: DREAM AWAKE. Imagination becomes reality in the 2024: you will be drawn into six awe-inspiring realms, where the boundaries of theatrical spectacle, live music, dance, aerial choreography and wearable art are pushed to the extreme. Last year Psychoactive Studios partnered with WOW to build a monumental new website which looks so incredibly beautiful. Since last years show we've continued to upgrade the site, with the latest new page being the 'About The Show' page, which features the stunning new campaign design by Everyone. Shoutout to the marketing team from WOW: Angela Monaghan, Nikita Rawnsley-Wratt, Brianne Kerr, Alice Robinson. A massive thanks to our wonderful designer & Webflow developer Laura Garcia for her her continued work on the WOW website, and to Carl Gordon for chipping in while Laura has been away. 🧬 Feature Focus: The Three Most Important Things 🗣️ Q Bio's vision for healthcare transformation is held up by 3 core technologies, which act as the pillars of the future they’re working to build. These technologies are the Gemini Digital Twin Platform, Mark 1 Whole Body MRI Scanner, and Anatomical Foundation Model (AFM). With a mission centred around three equally important and groundbreaking technologies, we needed to ensure they had equal share of the spotlight. After contextualising the current healthcare system and the changes Q Bio is working toward through users initial experience with the Home page animation, the first subsequent section splits into 3 cards showcasing each core technology. These three cards feature a summary sentence, bespoke assets, technology title, and a paragraph description. Each card is clickable, and heralds the full page of information dedicated to its respective technology. The only dropdown link in the navigation bar is also the Technologies, featuring a mega menu which showcases each technology with their title, summary sentence, and bespoke asset, accessible at any time through the browsing experience. Balancing the spotlight on these three technologies is essential, as they work holistically to support a future where preventative healthcare is a reality. 🚀 Feature Focus: Animating the Future of Healthcare with Q Bio! 🌟 Looking closer at our collaboration with Q Bio, our efforts extended beyond design and development. We created an engaging animation that helps communicate the difference between healthcare today, and the future Q Bio envisions. The animation, built using Cinema4D and GSAP,  captures the essence of Q Bio's three technology pillars—Gemini Digital Twin Platform, Mark 1 Whole Body MRI, and Anatomical Foundation Model. It illustrates how these innovations will impact healthcare, making full-body scans more accessible and efficient. While often used just for show, in our project we’ve utilised animation as a medium to make complex healthcare concepts more accessible to a wider audience. We're excited about the potential this has to inspire others to invest in making accessible science.
