An awesome time had on Friday by Axiom Training at the CCNZ golf day!! ⛳ 🏌️   Great to catch up with many people in the industry – meaningful conversations, good banter and some golf.   The Steves represented us well, with Axiom Training coming 3rd place out of 11 teams, not too bad Steve Golding and Steve Clark! 👏 👏   Thanks to Civil Contractors New Zealand for putting on such a great event. 🙌

Our amazing crane trainer James in action 😊 🙌 Here he is, at one of our crane courses ‘Dogman Operations’ in Auckland. James gave the learners activities to calculate the objects they were to lift with the crane. Also, he taught complex scientific calculations in a way that were broken down so everyone could understand and lead their own learning. We’re so fortunate to have James as part of our team. Not only does he have so much industry knowledge and personal experience, but he’s also passionate about what he does and develops a real rapport with those on his course. Keep up the awesome mahi James! 💪

Steve and Damon had a great time at the Stratford A&P Show on the weekend! We enjoy supporting the local communities that we work in, whenever we can. Our Axiom Training stand proved popular, with kids lining up to have a go at digger driving, as well as those keen to learn more about upskilling or changing careers. Thanks to everyone for braving the weather and coming out!

Our National Vocational Education Manager, Hiren Sheth has now returned from the Careers and Transition Educators Association NZ (CATE) Conference in Whangarei.   This was a great opportunity for schools to learn more about types of training available and also for ākonga to explore different career pathways.   It was awesome to host ākonga from different kura and tell them more about how Axiom Training can support careers in Civil Infrastructure and Commercial Transport. If you’re still planning what to do next year, why not take a look at the Tertiary Programmes we offer here https://lnkd.in/gr4ba7f2 We have programmes across New Zealand and the next intake is 5th February 2024.
