Whanganui River Adventures is a locally owned business based in Pipiriki, a sleepy little village beside the Whanganui River.
We offer cultural jet boat tours which are scenic and involve the history of the river.
Our tours include activities from Jetboating, bushwalking, historic and scenic stops, The "Bridge to Nowhere", canoeing/kayaking, Mountain biking in the Mangapurua Valley (Bridge to Nowhere Valley), Tramping and Hiking walks or camping in DOC huts and Free Transport included with our day tours.
All of our staff and ourselves are local tangata whenua from Pipiriki village and we have all been brought up on the river with our parents, grandparents and their grandparentsand so forth.
Your tours with us are personalised so that you enjoy your day out with the locals and have a great and authentic experience on the Whanganui River.
