The first Touchwood cots were designed and manufactured in 1988 when 2 furniture makers and soon-to-be fathers found that there were no adequately well built nursery cots available to the New Zealand market.
Touchwood's name has become synonymous with both quality and safety.
With the introduction of safety standards for Australia and New Zealand, Touchwood cots became one of the first companies to have their cots fully tested for compliance and this was followed by being awarded New Zealand's prestigious "S"-Mark Certification.
