About Suzi Wallis, Counsellor & Family Therapist, MNZAC

We all have times in our life when we need extra support or wish to explore some aspect of ourselves. An objective third party can really help. I am a trained Counsellor & Family Therapist working in Auckland, Aotearoa, New Zealand.

We are all doing our best on any day, in any moment with the knowledge we have at the time. Sometimes our thought processes or behaviours produce unexpected or unwanted results. Exploring our motivations, self talk, beliefs and patterns can help create a more satisfying life now and in the future. Some people like to explore the past to understand how situations have come about; some like to change their life from the next moment onwards - both approaches can be covered in counselling.

I have experience working with couples, individuals and families (children from age 16 upwards). I have training, experience and/or interest in systemic family therapy, transactional analysis, attachment theory, human development, conflict resolution, communication skills, life balance, anxiety & depression, the process of grief & grieving, suicide awareness, sexual orientation & gender issues, values & spirituality, mind/body/spirit connection, Reiki, law of attraction and living life consciously.
