About Jobs Board

Jobs Board is a proudly New Zealand owned and operated site created by Andrew Beaven. The idea for Jobs Board came about after Andrew saw a gap in the market for a cheap, locale based job search site.

Thus, this site was born in August 2010 and hopes to become the leading eTendering site in New Zealand.

Jobs Board is an online eTendering site modelled around a supermarket notice board. We aim to connect people who need a job done with people who can do the job.

The process works very much like an auction. Once a job has been posted, individuals and businesses can view that job, and submit a quote for work on that job.

When the auction period closes, the advertiser can choose who they want to complete their job based on the quotes that were submitted. An advertiser could choose the worker with the best rating, the lowest price or whoever they think would best suit the job.

This site caters for advertisers and job seekers of all kinds. Whether you're looking for work, or looking for workers, we provide the services you are looking for.
