Wall Panelling: Flooring on the Wall

Wall Panelling: Flooring on the Wall

08/10/2017 Wall Panelling: Flooring on the WallWood on the wall creates eye-catchers in the room, emanating a distinctive sense of warmth and comfort.
The current trends in interior design revolve around naturalness and clear room concepts with large windows. Partial or complete wall designs with wooden elements fit perfectly. They create counterpoints to the room concept or emphasise it in a subtle way. This completely new living experience is underlined by the noble, selected woods, the striking texture of the design elements and their matt oiled surfaces.
Open interior concepts with clear contours develop a different character with HARO elements. Wood on the wall creates eye-catchers in the room, emanating a distinctive sense of warmth and comfort. No matter what flooring you have, you can create stylish accents with a partial wall covering, especially in large rooms.
Another possible application of HARO Wall is the cladding of supporting columns and other architectural details. The dominance of austere architecture is reduced by the natural essence of the wood elements, which are harmoniously integrated into the room. With HARO Wall you can create room experiences which surround you with a sense of comfort and a unique ambience.
Advantages that impress

  • The simplest and fastest system for wall panelling.
  • Especially natural design thanks to the careful selection of choice woods.
  • Especially natural appearance created by matt, oiled surfaces using a range of different textures.
  • No side framing necessary thanks to low installation height.
  • No drilling, nails or screws.

Stylish wall design in countless variation.
Wood on the wall – this trend is nothing new. In the past, walls were already panelled with wood. Wooden wall panelling can be found in many rustic country houses, in cosy hotels and as a warm surface on cold castle walls. But wall panels with warm wood surfaces are increasingly found in modern, design-oriented houses and apartments, too. Nowadays, boards of high-quality that are matched to the floor surfaces are used instead of simple wooden boards. he Rosenheim-based timber specialist HARO offers decades of experience as a manufacturer of high-quality wooden floors manufactured in Germany and offers perfect solutions for contemporary interior wall design with its current and cutting-edge laminate and parquet flooring, as well as the innovative wood floor CELENIO.
Wall design in tune with the latest trends
The times in which white walls were the ultimate hit for interior design are over. Puristic interior and furniture design in particular needs warm surface accents on its surrounding spaces. Floors and walls can do with some colour and tangible surface textures. So what could be more natural than using wood where it has been tried and tested for centuries? Modern systems allow easy installation of timber, laminate boards or wood tiles in concrete look or slate effect on the wall, thus creating not only a cosy and homely atmosphere but also making it possible to design a room in a unique way. The areas that are panelled with HARO Timber, HARO Laminate or CELENIOare an absolute eye-catcher on your own four walls. A hip industrial look with CELENIO wood tiles, for example in the Soho concrete look, or an optical enlargement of the spatial effect with a floor that seems to go up the wall seamlessly. When it comes to your imagination, the sky is the limit!
Quickly and easily attached to the wall
Mounting modern HARO Floor coverings on the wall is incredibly easy. The reason for this is the specially developed wall mounting system by HARO that is perfectly tailored for the HARO range. This system consists of fixing rails, special start and end pegs, as well as mounting pegs. Whether you choose HARO genuine wood floor, HARO Laminate or CELENIO Wood Tiles – all quality floors by HARO can easily and quickly be mounted to the wall. After the first row has been aligned with the spirit level, they can easily be attached with start pegs. Now, a quick and easy step-by-step installation is possible thanks to the mounting pegs to the wall. It is done in exactly the same way as installing a floor. The special end pegs, which are used for the final fixing of the floor boards on the wall, are the last part of the “installation work” on the wall. A matching aluminium moulding that covers the sides is a perfect finish that forms the perfect frame for your new wall. For designing rooms with timber, HARO even offers cover skirting in matching colours, produced from original timber boards.
Residue-free removal
Another advantage of the HARO wall system is that it can easily be removed again. The system is easily removed in the reverse order of its installation. The panels are taken off, the wall mounting rails screwed off and drill holes smoothed out again. It couldn’t be more simple! Therefore, the system is also ideal for rented apartments. When moving out, you can simply take it with you and find a new place in your new four walls.
