Global Outlook Limited is a small consulting firm that delivers large projects. Specialists in Client Representation for the delivery of property and construction related projects both nationally and in the Pacific region.
We have an excellent track record in the planning, programming, risk management and delivery of complex multi-stakeholder projects and have operated nationally throughout New Zealand, in Fiji, BoraBora Tahiti, the Solomon Islands and most recently Tonga.
Principal and Managing Director Mr. Craigè Mayo is a property professional with almost 23 years experience. During his career, Craigè has held four CEO positions with his most recent being CEO of a property focused Tourism Development Company specialising in environmentally sustainable development on remote islands in Fiji.
With a well rounded industry background, Craigè has expertise in greenfields land development and subdivision projects, large scale housing developments as well as large commercial construction. During 2003 – 2006 Craigè ran one of the top 5 housing companies in New Zealand. The group comprised 8 companies that acquired and developed land into housing estates, designed and constructed residential housing, sold, financed and managed the completed properties. Additionally, imported construction materials from Spain and China. Housing volumes exceeded 300 residential units per annum.
Possessing over 23 years combined experience in construction and financial services, Craige Mayo currently aids clients in the planning, programming, and representation of large-scale projects in property and construction. As the Managing Director of West Plaza Tower Limited, Craige Mayo provides oversight in the redevelopment of a downtown Auckland block for the future construction of a 65-story hotel and office tower.
Serving as Lead Consultant for many property-related enterprises, Craige Mayo has managed asset acquisitions, relocations, and refurbishments, as well as the development and construction of new office buildings, hotels, and resorts. In addition, he offers professional business planning and feasibility studies. Craige Mayo’s expert leadership allows clients to remain focused on the core of their business as he manages the entire project from initial client brief to concept, consultant appointments, tender and contractor procurement through to completion.
Serving investors interested in the acquisition and development of Fijian islands, Craige Mayo specialized in the Mamanuca Islands and Yasawa Group. He also aids in the development of property in New Zealand, Fiji, Bora Bora, Tahiti, the Solomon Islands, and most recently, Tonga. Offering specialized client representation and project management, Craige Mayo handles the planning and development of commercial and residential real estate, such as islands for the realization of hotel resorts and large scale residential development.
A New Zealander with an intimate knowledge of the country’s land and culture, Craige Mayo continues to serve the community as a volunteer ambulance officer. Additionally, Craige Mayo possesses advanced open water diving certifications from Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Scuba Schools International (PADI).
Married with two girls, Craige Mayo enjoys motocross, diving, barefoot waterskiing, fishing, and spending time with his family. A supporter of the Christian Children’s Fund, Craige Mayo is a resident of Auckland.
