08/09/2013 Peter and Pat from Richmond came to Casey Industries to see what could be done to renew their old kitchen. Their kitchen had a dark stain look which dated back to the early 1990s. The cupboards are of solid construction as is their rimu bench top. Peter and Pat were happy with the kitchen layout but Pat wanted to have a shelf on which to place their microwave.
Rather than spend money on a new kitchen, Peter and Pat decided to invest in refurbishing their existing kitchen with Casey Industries. Peter is good at DIY and Casey Industries agreed to work with Peter as much as possible in order to keep the final bill to a minimum. The cupboard doors were removed and re-sprayed with a lighter colour to match the décor of their home . The drawers were fitted with modern soft-close mechanisms. The rimu bench top was removed, refinished with a gloss lacquer and then reinstalled. Peter took the advice from Casey Industries to keep the existing brass door-handles and give them a good polish And Pat got her wish made true with the construction of a purpose built shelf on which to store their microwave.
