About Bruce Paine

Bruce Paine is a classical guitarist and composer from Auckland, New Zealand. He has been described by UK Classical Guitar Magazine as 'an excellent guitarist who happens to write quality music to a very high standard' and by Patrick Shepherd in the Christchurch Press as 'a name to watch'.

Bruce gives private and public concert performances in Auckland, and occasionally elsewhere in New Zealand and abroad. He has recorded four CD albums, the latest of which features a complete collection of his original guitar compositions and is entitled 'Lateral Lines'.

Many of Bruce Paine's recordings have been broadcast on Radio NZ Concert and he recently took part in a documentary about Auckland guitar maker Rod Capper.
