Bayline Coaches started as Tauranga's first motorised passenger service in 1919 and today operates out of Greerton, running over 50 school buses and numerous charter services every day.
The Company has had a succession of name changes over the years - trading as Tauranga Bus Service from 1946, Tauranga Mount Maunganui Bus Company in 1969 and now as the Bayline Group since 1986. With the new name and image came a greater commitment to passenger service. We are a family owned and operated business, transporting over a million passengers every year from Overseas Tourists to Local Sports and Social Clubs to School Services and Outings. Whatever your need for transportation, we have the solution for you with the added flexibility of a comprehensive fleet, with our depot in Tauranga to cater for your varying needs. Human Resources Staff - our greatest asset. Our Staff are carefully chosen for their personality and friendliness and are trained to the highest standards. Regular staff workshop sessions are held to improve systems and customer services. Maintenance and Safety Bayline Group operates an in-house maintenance workshop, fully equipped to service the latest in coach technology and is complimented by qualified staff. We place the utmost importance on the safety and comfort of our passengers - the maintenance of our vehicles is of the highest standard.
